Amber Monte
President
Amber Monte has 14 years of property management experience. As President of Investment Property Group, Ms. Monte oversees every detail of operations and management of a portfolio of 78 properties throughout the western United States. She takes a very proactive hands-on approach to the management of each property and earned her bachelor degree in Business Leadership from Concordia University of Irvine.

Julie Rodriguez, CPM

Vice President
Julie Rodriguez joined the team with 27 years of property management experience. As Vice President of Property Management she oversees the day to day operations and management for all Sage Communities. Ms. Rodriguez has managed multifamily real estate across the country and has held positions from Property Manager, Regional Manager, Senior Regional Manager, Regional Vice President and Vice President of Operations. A prime focus of her career has been the repositioning of large building assets, receiverships, acquisitions, and restructuring the result driven property management division. She holds the designation of Certified Property Manager with the Institute of Real Estate Management and will complete the requirements of the Certified Commercial Investment Manager designation in 2017. Ms. Rodriguez served on the Orange County board of IREM for 4 years, Michigan IREM board for 3 years and remains actively involved with IREM today. She is a licensed realtor in California. She studied at the University of Toledo and holds an Associate’s degree in Business Management Administration.

Sarah Medren
Director of Operations
Sarah Medren brings over 18 years of corporate and financial management roles with emphasis of revenue and expense management for various clients. Ms. Medren has a proven track record in the multifamily industry spending the last 7 years in the roles of Senior Regional Director and Asset Manager where her primary duties were the physical management of a multi-site residential portfolio. Her duties included but were not limited to maximizing the operating performance of fiscal accountability for her portfolio, proposing capital projects to increase asset value, including managing the results of 5 multi-million dollar renovations while also adhering to the budgets associated therewith. She has an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management and MBA with a concentration in Finance. Ms. Medren currently holds a Real Estate License with the California Department of Real Estate.

Greg Gomez
Chief Financial Officer
Greg Gomez has been the CFO for the over 10 years and in-house CPA of Affordable Housing Associates, LLC. During 9 of those 11 years Greg oversaw the expansion and management of the affordable housing division. Currently, Greg oversees the accounting for the affordable housing properties and assists in related HUD and property management matters

Jessica Nixon-June

Regional Manager
Jessica Nixon-June brings 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. Ms. Nixon-June began her career in the multifamily industry as a Leasing Consultant and was quickly promoted to an Assistant Manager and Community Manager. She has held the role of Regional Manager for the last 5 years. Ms. Nixon-June has also managed assets in the single family & mobile home sectors. Her most recent focus has been in the affordable housing industry, working closely with clients to maximize NOI by managing their assets efficiently and effectively. Ms. Nixon-June holds a Real Estate License with the California Department of Real Estate and is continuing her education toward a Certification in Property Management with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Kelley Stevens
Regional Manager
Kelley Stevens brings 14 years of experience in the multifamily industry in positions ranging from Community Manager, Senior Manager and Regional Manager. Ms. Stevens has overseen assets for both privately owned and institutionally owned – nationwide companies with a variety of properties ranging from market rate, affordable, student demographic, lease ups and luxury communities. Her concentrated focus has been on increasing NOI though rent growth, expense management, vacancy reduction, resident retention, and ancillary income. She has managed properties in 6 states and holds a current CAM designation through the National Apartment Association & CCRM through the California Apartment Association and holds a Real Estate License with the California Department of Real Estate.

Kelly Paine 
Regional Property Manager
Kelly Paine brings over more than 20 years experience in the multifamily industry. She has managed a portfolio of assets which include Class A, Lease-Up, Redevelopment, and Affordable Housing projects.  Ms. Paine has managed multiple properties, both institutional and privately owned, with various funding programs. Ms. Paine has proven to be successful in NOI growth, expense management, vacancy reduction, resident retention and staff development. She has developed annual budgets, forecasts, property business plans and marketing plans. She holds a NPPC Certification through Novogradic, an ARM designation and is a CPM candidate through IREM. She currently serves as a committee Co-chair with Multifamily Housing Northwest Association.  Ms. Paine is dedicated to her community and volunteers for Rebuilding Together Portland Oregon; White Shield/Salvation Army; Portland Youth Builders; and the American Cancer Society. Prior to her career in Property Management, she served in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division.

Tanya Vidaurri

Regional Manager
Tanya Vidaurri brings 23 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Ms. Vidaurri has held various positions from Leasing Consultant, Lease up Manager, Senior Community Manager and the last 11 years as a Regional Manager. Ms. Vidaurri has extensive experience in high level projects with intense revenue and leasing expectations. Ms. Vidaurri holds a California Real Estate License and is working towards her Certification in Property Management with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Ms. Vidaurri has received several awards for Highest NOI, Highest Average Occupancy, President’s Award, Sales Excellence and Regional Manager of the Year due to her consistent focus and understanding of managing assets to excellence performance levels.

Dawn Jones
Director of Compliance
Dawn Jones brings 15 years of experience in the property management industry. Ms. Jones has extensive experience which includes working in non-profit and for-profit organizations. Her career spans from Administrative Assistant to Director of Compliance. Dawn has led successful lease-ups and supervised up to 3,000 affordable units. Throughout her career she has managed various types of affordable programs. At SAGE, Ms. Jones has implemented safeguards to ensure compliance with all regulatory agreements and HUD guidelines. As of 2016 Ms. Jones holds a Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) designation, from the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA), which is an elite designation for professionals who specialize in the management of affordable and government-assisted housing.

Adriana Gonzalez
Compliance Specialist
Adriana Gonzalez comes to us with many years of experience working with Project Based Section 8 and LIHTC in addition to successfully managing a large portfolio. She is also knowledgeable in Fair Housing guidelines and EIV requirements.

Declan Kenny
Construction Manager
Declan Kenny spent the last 3 years working in the Multi Family Renovation Industry managing the interior/exterior renovations of apartment Complexes. Prior to that Declan has over 20 years’ experience in Commercial/Residential Construction as a Project Manager/Construction Manager.

Urvi Mehta
Accounting Manager
Urvi Mehta has been handling Property Management Accounting since 2006. Prior to joining Sage Ms. Mehta worked with a mid-sized property management firm and was responsible for all accounting functions for commercial as well as low income housing properties. She earned her Master’s in Accountancy from Gujarat University, India.

Ulka Nene
Staff Accountant
Ulka came to Sage Apartment Communities with 15+ years of accounting experience in property management both residential as well as commercial. Prior to this she worked in the leading nationalized bank in India –“Bank of India” for 18 years. Ulka graduated from well-known Bombay (Mumbai) University, at the same time earned the Commercial Art Diploma from one of the prestigious art school of hundred and fifty years old: “Sir J. J. School of Art” in Mumbai. That proves her passion with the art is as good as with the numbers. She also loves to paint the landscapes and likes to travel beautiful places in the world.

Jessica Prieto

Compliance Specialist
Jessica Prieto brings with her over 10 years of experience working both on-site and corporate level in the Affordable Industry as a Compliance Specialist. Jessica’s in depth knowledge includes Project Based Section 8, LIHTC/Section 42, Bond, fair housing and much more. Prior to joining Sage, Jessica also worked at California Quadel conducting Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs).

Cheryl Rice
Human Resource Manager
Cheryl Rice is responsible for all Human Resource and payroll functions for Sage corporate office and all Sage apartment locations. Cheryl has over 20 years experience in Human Resources and Payroll.

Dan Vaughn
General Counsel
For nearly 30 years as an experienced attorney, Dan has advised many local, national and international clients in all stages and aspects of real estate and financing transactions. Dan has extensive experience with the multi-family and affordable housing industry, including LIHTC transactions, bond cap financing, HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing, acquisitions and dispositions, regulatory and tax matters, etc.
